Welcome to Body Balance Massage Therapy!
We are located in Honolulu, Hawaii at 1525 Kalākaua Avenue inside of Superhuman Health Technologies & Therapies.
Our practice focuses on therapeutic massage therapy, muscle relief and result-based treatments. Our primary specialty is Ashiatsu Therapy, which in Japanese means "foot pressure." Ashiatsu utilizes the feet to provide a broad, smooth surface with consistent pressure. We also specialize in Medical Massage Therapy, a format that doctors and practitioners follow by pinpointing specific muscle groups and injuries. We do offer a variety of other techniques; you can view our full list of services below.
Do you have medical insurance benefits that covers massage therapy? We may be a providing practitioner! We are accepting new patients with Hawaii Medical Assurance Association (HMAA/HWMG), No-Fault Insurance (Auto-Motor Accident), and Workers’ Compensation insurance. Contact us today to learn more!

Meet Your Therapist
Aloha! My name is Tenisha Kane.
I graduated from Aloha School of Massage Therapy and earned my license in 2017. After moving from my home island of Maui to Oahu in search of more opportunities, I worked at North Shore Ashiatsu and Massage with Abby Parker; it was there that I found my passion in ashiatsu. As a former soccer athlete, my feet are more consistent than my hands and forearms - no more tired hands and sharp boney elbows! 99% of my clients tell me that once they tried ashiatsu, they could never go back.
I opened my own practice in 2020, but unfortunately had to close down due to challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. However, in 2022 I was able to reopen my practice and move to a new location, and now I have more motivation and determination than ever before!
My defining reason for becoming a massage therapist is my strong sense of wanting to help people. I sustained many soccer injuries over the years, and I’ve always remembered the gratitude I felt toward the trainers and therapists who took care of me. Now, it’s my turn to help as many people as I can to relieve the tension, aches, and pain in their lives. One of the best feelings as a therapist is having clients tell you how much better they feel after getting worked on. I invite you to come and enjoy a massage here at Body Balance - I hope to see you soon!
